I have completed my Masters of Counselling Psychology Degree from City University of Seattle. In my undergraduate studies, I completed a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Psychology from the University of Alberta. Previously, I have assisted clients who have experienced sexual abuse, children/youth/ adults with disabilities, inter/intra personal conflict, domestic violence, childhood trauma, addictions, significant mental health issues, poverty, homelessness and transiency. Additionally, I have experience in providing services to clients in high conflict situations.

My passion to pursue my studies and training to become a psychologist was fueled by observing how the trauma histories of my clients would lead to ongoing unresolved mental health challenges. Their stories showed me that addressing core issues could help the healing process, and hopefully empower the individual to be an agent of change for themselves.

I have extensive experience in working with clients with complex multidimensional needs. As a result, I can work therapeutically with various populations and concerns. Theoretically, I work from a psychodynamic framework, however, I am flexible and tailor my interventions to the needs of my clients. My typical approach is a direct, holistic, and compassionate style.

Throughout my work with vulnerable children, youth and adults, I have gained insight into human suffering and the impact that trauma has on individuals. My hope is walk along-side my clients, to empower them to heal their own suffering and live a more meaningful life
